Knowledge transfer and supervision at the heart of the IBSP team's activities

The IBSP team places central importance on training through research, in close connection with the programs of the University of Lille, in biology and physiology, biotechnologies, biochemistry, and microbiology.
Team members actively participate in the supervision of interns, Master’s students, doctoral candidates, and young researchers within the framework of research projects carried out by the team.

The faculty members of our team are involved in various capacities, whether from an administrative perspective (department council, head of teaching services, program director) or from a teaching perspective (lectures, practical and tutorial sessions, project and internship supervision)

Some courses will be taught in English, particularly for the Bachelor’s Bilingual option, or for certain Master’s – Doctoral Graduate Programs.

Doctoral Schools and Master's Programs

Over the past two years, the IBSP team has welcomed and supervised various profiles, ranging from BTS internships, BUT internships, and Professional Bachelor’s degree internships (Bac +3) to Research Master’s projects (Bac +5), medical residents, or Doctoral theses (Bac +8), regardless of funding sources (Ministry, CIFRE, …).

This range demonstrates the team’s commitment to training diverse profiles (Senior Technician, Study or Research Engineer, Doctor), by fostering their integration into innovative projects, and supporting them in their professional integration or their pursuit of a doctorate.

Currently, the IBSP team and its doctoral candidates are affiliated with the Doctoral School Biology Health Longevity (U-Lille, ED BSL 446). For the next contract period 2026-2030, the IBSP and its future doctoral candidates will instead be affiliated with the Doctoral School of Materials Science, Radiation and Environment (U-Lille, ED SMRE 104).
