My experience in a hospital laboratory, dedicated to the study of bacterial resistance, strengthened my determination to engage in research. <\/p><p>During my doctoral studies, I specialized in &#8216;-omics&#8217; approaches with a strong interest in physiology, focusing on the characterization of starch-synthesizing cyanobacterial mutants, which allowed me to acquire skills in biochemistry and molecular biology.<\/p><p>Across two postdoctoral positions, I developed expertise in sugar metabolism and photosynthesis, integrating phylogenetic, genetic, and -omics analysis approaches.
